TRAVEL - THE ALZHEIMER CRUISE

Patrick Toal of Open Seas Travel is a social worker and travel agent who puts together these trips for small groups of caregivers - a chance to relax and destress with his seminars and of course, the regular ship/shore activities. The AD spouses who are in the EARLIER stages, and able to function WITHOUT respite care, sometimes accompany their caregiver spouses, as is the case with our group that went on the January 08 cruise to Key West and the Bahamas.
