JOAN’S WEEKEND BLOG – JUNE 28/29, 2008 – TIME OUT

As you are aware from reading this week’s Blogs (see below), this has been an emotionally exhausting, as well as physically busy, week for me.

I need to take a little time out from the drama, and “chill”, as the saying goes, or the stress is going to kill me, literally.  I am going to take my own advice, as well as that of the experts, and the kind readers who have e-mailed me – I will make no attempts at reasoning, arguing, or explaining, no matter what Alzheimer’s Disease does to my husband’s brain this weekend. I plan on placating, agreeing, and walking away. Honestly, I have to or I will end up in the hospital.

So I am going to spend Saturday at the hairdresser , and when she is finished working her miracles on my 3-inch roots and frizz, I will take myself  to the home accessories store that is going out of business, and see if I can pick up some good bargains.

And maybe we’ll spend Sunday at the pool together.
